Elevating the Spirit
Ski & Yoga in the Swiss Alps
Let’s get away for a week to Pontresina, Switzerland — a sunny village at the foot of the Alps’ highest ranges.
Together, you and your fellow explorers will spend your days on alpine or cross-country skiing adventures with local guides at some of the world’s most stunning mountains – Diavolezza/Lagalb, St. Moritz - Corvigia, and Corvatsch/Furtschellas.
In the afternoons, we will meet for a gentle yoga practice with your trip leaders, Ali Nettles (RYT-200) and Meredith Brotherton (E-RYT-500), focused on restoring the body and elevating the spirit.
All guests will stay at the lovely Hotel Allegra, which includes daily access to the area’s finest Bellavita Spa, featuring a Finnish sauna, steam bath, and numerous pools and pristine facilities.
Each day will be a chance to embody what the locals call “bella vita”—beautiful life.

Born and raised in Selma, Alabama, Ali Nettles is a Washington, DC-based yoga instructor with a passion for movement, mindfulness, and the great outdoors.
Ali discovered yoga in 2021 as a way to stay grounded in the work-hard, play-hard culture of DC. What began as a personal wellness practice quickly grew into a deeper journey, leading her to yoga teacher training and diving headfirst into sharing the benefits of yoga with others.
Although a southern girl at heart, Ali feels most at home in the mountains. She picked up skiing alongside a group of college friends and embraced the humbling joy of learning a new sport as a young adult.
Ali is beyond excited to co-lead this unforgettable retreat to the Swiss Alps with Meredith. She hopes participants leave feeling inspired and more connected to themselves, nature, and the rich culture of this stunning mountain region.

Meredith Brotherton is a yoga instructor based in Washington, DC, but you can find her practicing, teaching, and learning all over the globe!
As a former recreational gymnast and pre-teen gymnastics coach, Meredith found a beautiful transition from the dynamic sport of gymnastics to the mindful practice of yoga. She remembers fondly the class that ignited the passion in her soul for the practice. She strives to recreate that feeling in every class setting, as a practitioner and especially as a guide.
Right around the time that she began her gymnastics career, her military family was given an assignment to move to Utah for 4 years. She learned how to ski at Powder Mountain as a young child before moving back to the East Coast, and has continued to enjoy over 2 decades of the "Greatest Snow on Earth" after her parents permanently relocated to Park City, Utah in 2000.
To say that she is excited to co-lead a retreat in the Swiss Alps combining skiing and yoga in an understatement!
